Guns Germs and Steel...Again
We watched even more of Guns Germs and Steel. We took notes and talked about sago and lots of agriculture. We started talking about farming animals and how that came to be and the domestication of wild animals. We started a list of animals that were over 100 pounds and had been domesticated. There were some animals that I didn't recognize the names of, but essentially they were just big farm animals. For an animal to be domesticated it needs to get along with other animals, get along with people, and reproduce quickly. I think we will be watching the video for the next class, and I kind of want it to be over so that we can take more structured notes.
